NCRC January 23, 2010 Frag Swap - Neptune Aquatics

At the Neptune swap we had a good amount of people who attended. There were about 30-40 or so people who were there to attend in the swap. Although there were a few new members who didn’t join in the swap but still had fun and got to meet other members of the club. It was expected that we would have good turn out of people as this is one of the nicest LFS in the south bay with some really nice corals and very friendly staff members.

NCRC July 11, 2009 Frag Swap - Vallejo Aquairum

This was the 1st swap we have held at Vallejo Aquairum, and as expected we didn’t get as large of a turn out as we have at some of our other South Bay swaps. It was however good to get the swap a little closer to some of the North and East bay swaps, which is a plan we intend on contunining in our future swaps.

BAYMAC 2009

Photobucket

NCRC members "talking reef" at our booth during BAYMAC 2009. This show was a tremendous success for the NCRC as it allowed us to introduce our club to the local marine hobbyist community. We would like to thank all of the members that helped make this event so successful through their generous donations of materials, frags, and time.

Bay Area Reefers Special Acknowledgement

The members of the NorCal Reef Club (formerly known as the Northern California Nano Reef Society) would like to give special thanks to the Bay Area Reefers (BAR) club for their support during our recent site transition. The BAR BOD and its members were quick to lend a helping hand both by providing our club with a temporary home to get organized and tons of great advice. Thank you BAR. Your help and kindness, it will not be forgotten.
