Long-time club member Alfred (arod2051) will be hosting a webinar on 2/4 entitled: "Alkalinity Revealed". Find out more about this event by clicking here: http://norcalreefclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=1879.
This was the 1st swap we have held at Vallejo Aquairum, and as expected we didn’t get as large of a turn out as we have at some of our other South Bay swaps. It was however good to get the swap a little closer to some of the North and East bay swaps, which is a plan we intend on contunining in our future swaps.
NCRC members "talking reef" at our booth during BAYMAC 2009. This show was a tremendous success for the NCRC as it allowed us to introduce our club to the local marine hobbyist community. We would like to thank all of the members that helped make this event so successful through their generous donations of materials, frags, and time.

The members of the NorCal Reef Club (formerly known as the Northern California Nano Reef Society) would like to give special thanks to the Bay Area Reefers (BAR) club for their support during our recent site transition. The BAR BOD and its members were quick to lend a helping hand both by providing our club with a temporary home to get organized and tons of great advice. Thank you BAR. Your help and kindness, it will not be forgotten.
Welcome to the Northern California Reef Club!
We are a group of bay area reef enthusiasts who share a common interest in caring for reef tanks. We offer a friendly place for exchanging information, support, and ideas related to reef keeping to both beginners and experienced reef enthusiasts.
The NorCal Reef Club is open to all marine aquarists wishing to share our experiences in keeping reefs. We hope you feel comfortable with our fun but respectful atmosphere. We welcome you to check us out and find out if our club is the reef club for you.
