I hear reef angels are really good but pricy and you basically get more bang for you buck with reefkeeper just depends which one. I myself am saving up for the reefkeeper light level 3 you get an extra pc4 and ph probe and some other software options I dont remember

Apex is a far more superior product than DA in term of both software and hardware design. When it comes to equipment that can cause your tank to crash, I would put my money into something that is more reliable in performance...and that would be the APEX.

But is the Apex, three times better? Yikes, big $$ difference: $360 vs $120.

I have the RKL, and the interface is pretty good, but I haven't set it up for anything fancy, so I don't have much to contribute here...

i have no complaints on my neptune systems (no relation to neptune aquatics) controller. i have an old aquacontroller jr (4 years now?) and it's as solid as the day i got it.

i can't comment on the other brands, or even the apex, but my past experience is good.

I also think that the Neptune System Apex Aquarium Controller is superior for the same points mentioned above.

That's because you both have the same name. JK. I been a Neptune system fan since day 1. I used pretty much all their Aquacontroller from the older purple to apex system.
