So, FishKillrz tossed in a sweet half eaten scoly (mostly the mouth left) when I picked up some of his coral. Its in low medium flow and has been recovering in my tank for a week now. Its puffing up a bit and sends out some short tentacle at night, which is when I feed it some hikari pellets.

Anything else I should do to help speed its recovery? Like trim back the skeleton, which is what I read on a couple of other treads....

yeah don't cut the bone. the bone's the hardest part to grow. keep feeding it. silversides might work depending on what's left

Cool, I won't cut the bone.

Silversides? I assume the fish? Its mostly, just mouth, so probably not gonna take the fish.

Maybe Mysis soaked in Selcon is better than hikari?

Feed once, twice, or thrice a day?

i would feed as much as it'll eat but don't risk polluting your water.

i've never used selcon so i wouldn't know.

silversides are some small cheap fish you see frozen at LFSs and some supermarkets. they're nice and fatty but can easily pollute your water with small particles so be careful. anemones and LPS love them in my experience.
